We are so, so sad. She was a person of such inimitable grace and distinction. This moment I am thinking (rather banally) back many years to her job talk which I thought then (and I think that Kathleen will agree) was the best I had ever heard. Her gifts were extraordinary. What strikes me now is how rich her life was with Scott and their son. The extraordinary friendships, travel, and the triumph of her long battle with cancer until the very end. I also mourn for your loss of her.
